1. TECHNICAL PAPER PRESENTATION
The event provides platform to students to show their talent of presenting technical and research papers. Broad categories for technical presentations are Advances in Mechanical and Manufacturing science, Mechatronics, Micromachining, Robotics, Thermal and Power Engineering etc. Winners will be awarded with cash prizes and certificate of appreciation.

2. POSTER DISPLAY
Posters of milestones in Engineering as well as Technology will be showcased in the Quadrangle. Explanation for the same will be arranged by providing poster visit slot in the schedule of the program. Cash prize and certificate will be awarded to participant for showing their research.

3. CRUCIBLE
To recognize the talent of the students in GENERAL ENGINEERING, quiz will be organized during the sessions. Also PUZZLES to test the thinking power and problem solving skills of the students are scheduled.

4. VISION
It’s an ESSAY competition in which the students have to mail their IDEAS which can be seen in near FUTURE. This competition also enhances the IMAGINATION power of the students.

It will help to boost the knowledge of the student in more interesting way. One movie will be on Technical Issue while other will be on Social Awareness each of 30 minutes.

Lectures on subjects like SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT, ROBOTICS, CREATIVITY etc. will expose the students to advanced knowledge in specific subject.

About PESA

Department of Production Engineering was established in 1959 to conduct postgraduate diploma in Production Engineering. At present department offers undergraduate, postgraduate Ph.D programs. B.Tech. Production course is of sandwich type & is recognized by the board of apprenticeship training.

Department has very good industrial interaction through it’s six moths implant training and industrial projects for its final year students. Production engineering dept has three major labs- Process Engineering, Metrology and Quality Control, & Computer center which are well equipped and well maintained.

Introduction of VJTI

Established in 1887, VJTI is well-known all over the world for its excellence in technical education and honored with autonomy in 2004. Prior to 1960, VJTI was the only institute offering Engineering Degree and Post-graduate courses under the University of Bombay.
In 1998, the Institute was renamed from its old Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute to its present name Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI)
